Mike, who joined Falco as a Contracts Manager in September 2010, has over 30 years’ experience working in the utilities sector and specifically groundworks.
As Contracts Manager he has overall responsibility for the delivery of Falco’s work for UKPN’s London and Southeastern Power Network contracts LPN , SPN & EPN. His responsibilities include:
- Recruitment and training of operational staff
- Selection and appointment of subcontractors
- Day-to-day communications with all stakeholders including client, site agents, residents etc.
- Attending contract progress meetings
- Inspection and auditing of completed works.
Mike also serves as the Power Division representative on the EOT Committee for the Granard Trust. “I have enjoyed learning about the great benefits that employee ownership can deliver for us,” he said, “Over the coming months you can expect to see EO activity ramp-up as we continue on our journey to Debt Free Day and prepare ourselves for the additional responsibilities that this will bring to us as beneficiaries.”
