Recent discussions held during contract reviews with UKPN and Thames Water have highlighted their focus in reducing the carbon emissions of their respective supply chains. To demonstrate synergy with their long-term ambitions to reduce greenhouse gas emissions we aim to publish our own roadmap to Net Zero in Q3 this year.
We have engaged the services of an environmental consultant to crunch the numbers and research ways in which we can decarbonize and reduce the impact our activities have on Global Climate Change. This will build on the endeavours to reduce emissions from logistics which resulted in a 30% reduction in the company’s carbon footprint in 2022.
