Staff and customers celebrated the company’s award of a major contract expansion with UK Power Networks at a charity boxing event in London in March.

Falco sponsored two tables at the 7th Fit out & Construction v The City Boxing Charity Challenge held at Ironmongers Hall, Barbican, London. The annual event which raised over £3,000 (of which £1000 was donated to Help for Heroes) was originally planned for last September but had to be re-scheduled due to COVID.

“The boxing night was the perfect environment and occasion for us to celebrate a major achievement and milestone for the company and let our hair down after a challenging 3 months mobilising resources to enable us to hit the ground running on the new contract,” said Falco’s Company Director, Alan Seyfi.

Since February Falco has provided planned and responsive excavation services to cover faults, small services and unmetered connections (UMC) in all of its three of UKPN’s operating areas – London, Eastern and Southern Power Networks (LPN, EPN and SPN).

The charity event featured 3 x 3 minute round bouts in front of over one hundred guests. In addition to Falco, table sponsors included a number of construction firms including PiP UK, Phoenix ME, Go Interiors, Gloster MEP, Artemis and Amicus.

Falco’s two tables featured a mix of management staff and clients who enjoyed the company and stories throughout the night of their special guest John Conteh MBE. The former WBC World Light Heavyweight Champion, who retired in 1982, is a regular attendee of Falco’s corporate hospitality events. Former British Flyweight Champion Micky Cantwell also attended the event and joined John in the ring for the winner’s presentations.
