London-based groundworks services company, Falco Construction, has achieved two new accreditations which demonstrate its commitment to continuous improvements and best practice.

Falco has been awarded the Exor Gold certification following an extensive pre-qualification process in January 2016. The Exor mark will enable the company to qualify for work where clients require evidence of a more robust SSIP accreditation than the Construction Health & Safety Scheme (CHAS).

In February Falco also awarded Van Excellence accreditation following a stringent application process and on-site audit of 10 random vehicles and drivers chosen from its extensive inventory.

“Van Excellence is a growing industry recognised standard which demonstrates how Falco Construction has moved with the times by developing a robust maintenance and systematic management of all our 3500kg fleet Vehicles,” said the company’s Support Services Director, Alan Seyfi, “The accreditation of Van Excellence will help us to continue to monitor and measure our performance and compliments our FORS accreditation. With a unique brand and fully equipped vehicles to meet our clients’ safety requirements these systems will allow us to stay ahead in this competitive contracting market.”

Falco’s 60-strong fleet consists of 50 Transit LWB 350 Vans and ten Transit 350 Tippers which allow the company to provide a rapid-response service for attending emergencies and reactive works involving underground utilities.
