Falco continues to support youth empowerment charity Urban Synergy. Following-on from our sponsorship of its annual Celebration Event at London’s Guildhall we are now supporting a forthcoming fundraising golf event in May at the Shire course in Barnet.
Falco is sponsoring two holes and entering two four ball teams for the event – one captained by our MD Brendan Griffin and the other by boxing legend John Conteh.
“Urban Synergy provides a perfect vehicle for us to support and develop our local community,” says Falco’s Support Services Director, Alan Seyfi. “Its commitment to helping disadvantaged young people find pathways into work mirrors our own interest in investing in skills and training to support the communities in which we work.”
In August 2023 Falco became an official partner of Urban Synergy. The three-year arrangement will see Falco sponsor and fund the organisation as well as offering targeted apprenticeship pathways for under-represented young people seeking a career in the utilities sector.

Founded in 2007, Urban Synergy is an award-winning charity that has helped over 27,000 young people between 9-24 years of age to reach their full potential. The London-based organisation focuses on providing early support to build confidence and help young people see what’s possible for their future.
Tailored programmes designed to inspire and empower include 1-to-1 online e-mentoring, in-school and on-line career seminars work to bridge the gap between the classroom and the workplace and arranging work placements, internships and apprenticeships.
