Background

Matt Joined Falco in 2009 as Team Leader/Ganger and worked his way up through the ranks to become Contracts Manager in 2015 in recognition of his leadership and managerial qualities.

Matt has over 24 years’ experience in the construction and civils sectors having started his career at P Bennett Foundations in 1995 before moving on to Kent-based Andel Plant. Since then, he has worked in various capacities for FM Conway, Ward & Thomas, and J Murphy before joining Falco.

During his early years at Falco Matt honed his skills in the discipline of deep excavation, focussing on facilitating the installation and maintenance of underground utility infrastructure for UKPN.

Matt was instrumental in delivering the project on-budget and on-programme and receiving 24 customer commendations in the process, mainly for efficiency and customer care.

Matt also helped to complete a £1.2 million project on behalf of Dunamis at Purfleet Power to provide two 11kv High Voltage circuits to enable power from a 33kv Substation to an 11kv Substation to facilitate a Gas Generation Plant.
